Description

The Buddyswim neoprene buoyancy shorts are designed to provide additional buoyancy for the swimmer in the hips and legs, allowing a correct horizontal body position  in the water, improving hydrodynamics (and speed!) while swimming.

The shorts are made with 3mm Trilaminate Neoprene at the front and back of the shorts while two side panels of 5mm neoprene add greater buoyancy and roll control.  The shorts are suitable for any level of swimmer and can be used in the pool and open water.  The additional buoyancy aids in proper body position in the water allowing the swimmer to focus on arm and leg swim technique.

IDEAL FOR OPEN WATER AND POOL

The neoprene shorts can be used in all open water or pool training sessions as an alternative to the classic pullbuoy but with complete freedom of leg movement in all swimming styles.

We have four sizes available, but they run slightly small, we recommend sizing up. See size chart.

PRODUCT CARE

To have your neoprene shorts always ready and preserve their properties and lifetime, we recommend that you follow these simple steps for washing and maintenance.

  1. Rinse with fresh water after each use to remove any traces of salt water or chlorine.
  2. You can wash it in the shower with neutral pH soap and rinse it well afterwards to remove any soap residue.
  3. Turn the short inside out and let it dry inside out in the shade, preferably outdoors or in a place with good ventilation.
  4. Once the inside is completely dry, turn it over again so that the outside of the short finishes drying and it will be ready for the next time you need it.

WARNING

Hand wash cold. Do not use dryer or iron
